DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this training is to teach what our legal rights are during interactions with law enforcement\, how to ID ICE\, and how to respond when you see an ICE raid happening. We also include some other actions you can take. \nThese steps are based off historical successes\, tactics currently being used in targeted cities\, and actions our local immigration organizations are taking. Every community is different so these steps and procedures can vary according to where you are and how much support you have on scene. This training was previously called Be Prepared for ICE. \nYou can RSVP on our encrypted form here so we can send you the link to the training and have an idea of the number of attendees. You can also click the zoom link provided in the details section at 2pm on March 8th! We understand that people are hesitant to share their personal information so we don’t require registration to attend.
