DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this training is to teach what our legal rights are during interactions with law enforcement\, how to ID ICE\, and how to respond when you see an ICE raid happening. Our goals are to document\, support our community members who are being targeted\, and de-escalate as much as we can to reduce potential violence from officers. These steps are based off historical successes\, tactics currently being used in targeted cities\, and actions our local immigration organizations are taking. Every community is different so these steps and procedures can vary according to where you are and how much support you have on scene. This training was previously called Be Prepared for ICE. \nYou can RSVP on our encrypted form here so we can send you the link to the training and the written materials or click the zoom link provided in the details section at 2pm on Febuary 8th! We understand that people are hesitant to share their personal information so we don’t require registration to attend. However\, we cannot send the write up without an email address. \nThis training is virtual only and presented by We Keep Us Safe: El Pueblo Unido Contra ICE. We Keep Us Safe is a grassroots initiative to help the metro Denver area organize proactively and effectively to protect our community members from being inhumanely kidnapped by ICE. DESCRIPTION:Signs of Solidarity Group\, a joint project of Indivisible Denver Action (IDA) and Immigrant Partnership Teams (IPT) is presenting aBusiness “Know Your Rights” (KYR) canvasses. Volunteers visit businesses and give them materials to suggest ways they can help protect themselves and employees from ICE raids by knowing their constitutional rights. \nOur next Business Know Your Rights training is in SE Denver at Florida and Dahlia. This training is on Sunday\, February 15\, 2026. From 1:00-3:00 PM. There are many roles behind the scenes and a lot of footwork involved\, especially for those of us not currently connected within our community. Having strong community connections and support is essential for all of us to endure and prevail against authoritarianism! Every community is different\, but this training will give you basic guidelines to follow and safety tips. We will cover the early steps\, how to structure a rapid response team in the event of an ICE encounter\, and some other ways to help outside of patrols. This training will be useful even if you have already started organizing! \nThis training will be entirely virtual and open to the public.
