Join us for an introductory Indivisible event safety training that covers how to help keep yourself and others safe at protests, rallies, and other Indivisible actions. Indivisibles are increasingly hosting more and greater diversity of events: rallies, marches, and other visibility actions. We need organizers, leaders, and safety staff for these actions, creating the need to onboard and train more volunteers so we can magnify our impact.

This training is intended to build awareness of safety roles among our volunteer base, equip volunteers to feel more confident apprenticing at events and taking on safety roles, and provide a refresher to existing safety personnel of some of the guidance you may have seen before.

This 101 training repeats. It is the same training each time. We’ll cover topics like event hosting, safety marshal work, and de-escalation tactics.
